Undersea and Hyberbaric Medical Society Collection

UHMS logo

The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS), an international, nonprofit organization, is the primary source of information for diving and hyperbaric medicine physiology worldwide. The UHMS's purpose is to provide scientific information to protect the health of sport, military and commercial divers and to improve the scientific basis of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, promote sound treatment protocols and standards of practice and provide CME accreditation. Associate members are composed of nurses, technicians, respiratory therapists and others who work in the field of diving and hyperbaric medicine, although most UHMS members are diving or hyperbaric scientists and physicians.
