The Duke Medical Center Archives Oral History Program was established in 2003 to augment through tape-recorded memoirs the Archives's materials on the history of the Duke Medical Center and Health System. Copies of all interviews are available for research use in the Duke Medical Center Archives. The Department is under the direction of Russell S. Koonts, Director and Archivist, and the administrative direction of Patricia Thibodeau, Associate Dean for Library Services, Duke University Medical Center.
