Using Materials in the Collection
Duke University or Medical Center Community Users
The images and texts on this web site have been made available for use in research, teaching, and private study. For these purposes members of the Duke University community may reproduce (print, make photocopies, or download) materials from this web site for Duke University projects or publications without prior permission. Users must provide proper attribution of the source in all copies.
Commercial and Other Users
Any other use that does not fall under the above requirements, including but not limited to commercial or scholarly reproductions, redistribution, publication or transmission, whether by electronic means or otherwise, without prior written permission of the Duke University Medical Center Archives is strictly prohibited. Obtaining Reproductions of Materials in the Collection
Requests for reproductions of materials from this collection are handled on a case by case basis. Photographic reproductions from original negatives or prints are not available, except through cooperation with a Duke
University vendor. High-resolution digital images may be obtained by contacting the Archives. For all requests, please include the identification number(s) of the image(s) requested as well as your e-mail address, postal address, and
telephone or fax number with any correspondence. Cost for reproduction of images can be found on Archives' Research, Photocopy & Scanning Services page [http://archives.mc.duke.edu/services/fees.html].
Citing Materials from the Collection
Please acknowledge the source of materials by clearly stating the following information:
title of the photograph, date, unique identifier, name of the collection, the name of the repository, and the URL of the collection site.
